Le Trung Hieu's

I am a Vietnamese ceramic artist based in Saigon. My practice grows from a desire to understand myself through the places, memories, and visual culture that have shaped me.

I draw inspiration from everyday life in Saigon, Vietnamese imagery and decorative traditions, with a particular interest in the heritage of Biên Hòa ceramics. Through carving, enamelling and experimental glazing, I explore how traditional techniques and familiar images can take on new meanings in a contemporary context.

Through my work, I hope to create a dialogue between heritage and contemporary life, memory and material – while expressing my own perspective as part of a new generation of Vietnamese artists.
